Overview
Opened in the spring of 1997, Loyola Softball Park provides the Ramblers with one of the finest collegiate facilities in the Chicagoland area.
The unique complex, which also houses a separate field for the Loyola soccer programs, is located just one mile west of Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus. Loyola Softball Park has benefited from several upgrades over the years but has still maintained its intimate charm. Recent improvements include a new lighting system, installation of a FieldTurf playing surface, and expanded bleachers.
Situated in a residential area of Rogers Park, Loyola Softball Park features permanent home dugouts, bleacher seating, concession stand, restrooms, locker rooms and lights.
The site has hosted numerous tournaments throughout its history, most notably the 2001, 2008 and 2011 Horizon League Softball Championships. Loyola Softball Park has also hosted IHSA Tournament contests as well as professional games.
